Galcom International exists so that people everywhere can hear God's Word in the language of their heart. We serve local ministry partners — missionaries, national churches, and Bible translators — by providing the audio technology their communities need: solar-powered radios, audio Bibles, and complete Christian radio stations.
Why audio?
Hundreds of millions of people live in oral cultures or cannot read. Many more live beyond the reach of reliable electricity and internet. For them, the Good News has to be heard. Audio crosses the barriers of literacy, poverty, distance, and — in many places — persecution: a radio can speak quietly inside a home where a missionary could never enter.
People before technology
We build and ship equipment, but equipment is never the point. Every radio serves a person: a mother who has never heard Scripture in her own tongue, a village with no church, a young believer with no one to disciple them. Our partners know these people by name. Our job is to make sure they can be heard.
The result we pray for
Listeners become believers. Listening groups become congregations. Congregations raise up their own broadcasters. When a community no longer needs us, the mission has worked.
